When is a queen not a queen
What on earth could Ares mean
When will Iolaus see
She's not Niobe
Can't wait for part 3 to be seen.

Don't worry about the rhyme in your intro to part two
sometimes the Bwell bug, it slips up on you
before long very quick
you'll be writing a limerick
But I'm not responsible so please don't sue.

Bwell

Your recruitment services are great,
you do them so well,
and as for pay
what can I say,
I'll give you "thanks you're swell."

Catstale

Howl, Howl, Howl, Howl
Oh, you sent us a good'un.
I loved the Shaggy bit
(and Scooby too) This one was great.

A little hacked "Lear" for those who've read it.

Lanfear Who's praying Shakepeare will forgive the poetic license

This is for Hebea who
Brought us up when we're feeling blue,
We'll miss her a lot,
She won't be forgot,
In our hearts she'll always be true.

Come back in a hurry,
Til then, hugs warm and furry,
We won't really part
You're still in our heart,
We want you back in a hurry.

Thanks for all you've done Hebea.

This doesn't have any fowl language, I'm afraid I'm too chicken for that anyway.I'd be afraid you'd think me a turkey at that. And now for the limerick. I know thats eggzactly what you've been waiting for. See I've hatched this really neat idea for a limerick.

There once was a fantastic mailing list
Whose ILG we would all miss
Ceallach will do
A great job too
But "A pox on the Air Force," I hissed

Glad you took time to take a little gander at my poem.

See I avoided the most obvious pun, but then I'd end up with egg on my face.

Iolaus,who likes to flirt.
Charmed a sweet thing in a skirt.
While she batted her eyes,
Her boyfriend of great size,
Chased our hero with intentions to hurt.

And yet another Haiku!

Friends need not say "Thanks",
'Tho one would like to hear it.
Herc could surely try!

>Now I'm done.If you throw tomatoes,I prefer The Italian,or Roma variety.

Norcia

Welcome friend you know you're right
Watching Hercules and Iolaus is such a delight
I'm glad you can tell
the IML is really swell
Join in the fun, you'll fit in just right.

Bwell

Its ALL IOLAUS DAY
so let us have a blast
a laugh or two
but when we're through,
Lets have another so it will last.

Iolaus and the Three Goddesses

Our Hunter was treading an Athens street
When the Goddess of Wisdom he did meet.
Athena let out a chortle
And said, "Greetings mere mortal!
Allow me to help you get back on your feet!"

"What do you mean?" Iolaus replied.
To get to her meaning he tried and tried.
But when they dematerialized
He suddenly realized
That he'd already unwillingly complied.

When they reappeared in a thicket of trees
Iolaus discovered himself down on his knees.
To which the goddess said
With a tilt of her head,
"I've always been great with prophecies."

So he reached for the hand he'd been given
And assured Athena that all was forgiven.
"But I'd still like to know
If you can or can't show
Me why you've brought me here at this late hour of ten?"

Athena's gray eyes held in them a spark
As she pointed out another soul in the dark.
"It was she that did bid me.
Yes indeed it was she,"
And vanished the goddess did with that last remark.

"Hello?" Our Hunter called into the night
And was certainly taken aback at the sight
When Artemis did show
Her raised and aimed bow
So that he nearly turned and took flight.

"Iolaus, please don't worry
And don't be in such a hurry.
It's you I want,
But not to hunt!
But to help me catch another quarry."

"I'm listening," he said and folded his arms
And watched as Artemis used her charms
To guarantee
That he'd agree
To help her without tripping any alarms.

"In this wood is a stag
That I've been dying to bag.
Show me quick
An Old Hunter's Trick
To help me catch him without further lag."

So the clever hunter gave her a tip
To secure the success of her hunting trip.
Artemis smiled with glee
And with a chuckle slapped her knee
As she immediately ran off at a clip.

Now Iolaus just stood there
And running a hand through his hair
Said aloud, "This is strange.
Do I get nothing in exchange
For assisting these goddesses so fair?"

"Now sweetcheeks, you know better!
If there's a girl, you're gonna get'er!
So just sit tight
And you just might
Get a thank you from this goddess if you'll let her!"

"Now, 'Dite, you do flatter,
But please remember a certain matter
About Hephaestus
Who, if he found us,
Would make me the ball and he the batter!"

"Hey Goldy, you know I love ya!
But puh-lease, I'm so high above ya.
But I know that you'll find
What I have in mind
A reason to shout 'Hallelujah!'"

And with that the third goddess was gone
And Iolaus thought himself to be alone.
But what was this?
A lovely lost miss?
He'd seen such beauty in none!

"Oh please, Golden Hunter," she began to speak.
"I'm but a damsel, timid and meek.
If you'll help me out
I have no doubt
I could make those cute knees go weak."

Speechless at first, he gazed in her eyes
And silently thanked 'Dite for such a surprise.
"I know it sounds sappy,
But I wish to make you happy,
So come with me and in the morning we'll watch the sun rise."

"Oh my hero, how shall I repay ya?"
"There is no payment needed I tell ya."
And so she did wink
At the goddess in pink
Who replied, "You're totally welcome BonaDea!"

The End

Bona Dea

In New Greeceland time is often abused
And old story lines commonly confused
Iolaus had a wife
Now she's out of his life
Will amnesia get the writer excused?

And A haiku

Iolaus was a
Naughty little Boy, She said
Stealing pastries young!

Norcia

Oh Ceryndip what a delightful tale
Though wreckage of the ship they must sail
Herc in pain
And Iolaus the same
I'm so glad that they finally prevailed.

Bwell

This limerick and haiku come with a disclaimer- Do not get me wrong I love Roy Dotrice, It's just that I have this weird sort of mind that pictures things, well, um, Differently. I can't wait to see Mr.Dotrice as Zeus. Anyhow with that out of the way.

Zeus played by Mr.Dotrice?!?
"Father" from Beauty and the Beast?!?
I'd have to take cyanide
If Herc gets "lionized."
Will we Still have Iolaus at least?!?

And the Haiku.

Will Herc grow more hair
And start living underground
When "Father" plays Zeus?

Norcia

I couldn't stand it when the cast just whined
They've done many Hercless eps just fine
Now when Just Herc is on
And Iolaus is gone
That's when the show's in serious decline

Bwell

Thanks for the sequel to Discord's Deal
The plot twist started my head to reel
I would be amiss
to not mention that kiss
You really know how to turn up the heat, I feel

Bwell

Your lovely story caused the tears to flow
Iolaus's loss makes my heart feel low
His dignity saved
His plight he braved
Once again it proves Iolaus the great hero

Bwell

Once again The Herc Netforum is spooled
Seems it's always being retooled
They'll fix it and then
It'll spool once again
TPTB are the only ones who are fooled

Bwell

There once was a change so smooth
No one noticed they were being moved
After being up late
Didn't have to concentrate
Great Co-ILG's can succeed you proved

But wait....

Just when I started my well earned Spring Break
I have to think, Oh no, a decision to make
Try the digest form
Or stay , hey, I'm torn
Hadn't planned on thinking much, for goodness sake!

Bwell

Though once I fell for Iolaus first
I have a great admiration for Hurst
I can attest
Michael's the best
Seeing Highwater almost made my heart burst!
